CHRISTENSON TRANSPORTATION REGIONAL FLEET
Our Regional Fleet is comprised of drivers making deliveries in some of our biggest markets. This fleet is focused in the lower eastern US and spans as far north as Pennsylvania and as far west as Missouri. Drivers in this fleet are based in cities like Atlanta, GA and Lebanon, TN which are located in the heart of this fleet's service area. While the Regional Fleet is made up of Company Drivers as well as Lease/Owner Operators, there are limited LP/OO positions available.

Drivers based in Atlanta, GA, and Lebanon, TN near our terminals are able to head home more frequently than drivers based in other locations.

ONBOARDING

Upon approval of your online application, you should receive a call from one of Recruiters who will collect any missing information, schedule a drug screening, lock in a start date, and arrange transportation to your orientation.

Orientation takes place at our headquarters in Strafford, MO. It lasts 2-3 days and includes meeting your fleet manager and other staff, choosing your truck, signing any necessary paperwork, learning about safety, maintenance, and operations policies, and getting the things you need to get on the road.

PAY

Starting Base pays $1.25 Per mile on loaded miles

Deadhead pays $1.25 per mile on empty miles after the first 50 miles. No fuel surcharge paid on empty miles.

Fuel Surcharge paid on all loaded miles.

FSC formula based on the pump price ABOVE $1.245 per gallon & averaged at 7.0 mpg fuel economy

Additional $.10 Per Mile (for a base rate of $1.15 Per Mile) East Coast pay.

for all loaded miles on loads that pick up AND deliver East of the Mississippi River.

Starting Base Pay – $.54 Per Mile

The driver may elect to have $.11 per mile paid as per diem.

Starting Base Pay for teams – $.60 Per Mile

Each team member may elect to have $.05 per mile paid as per diem.

Paid weekly on the miles for that pay week.

Market Surcharge Pay
-
Pay will be calculated at the market contract linehaul rate per loaded mile for the previous week vs the linehaul rate per mile goal. Ex, Market at $2.54 – $2.14 *.3 = $.12 CPM.

Additional .01 per mile for every million miles at Christenson Transportation

Orientation/Transition Pay of $250.00 + Travel Expenses

Paid on first check, after completion of orientation and first load.

Layover Pay of $250.00 Per night

If not assigned a load by 5pm the day after unloading.

Extra Pick-up or Drop pay of $65.00

Excludes first pick-up and first drop.

Detention Pay of $40.00 per hour

Begins 2 hours after correctly reporting on time arrival for appointment, not to exceed $250 daily. Detention on FCFS deliveries will be paid $20 per hour after correctly reporting arrival, not to exceed
$125 daily.

Referral Bonus of $500.00 & name entered into the drawing to win $4,000.00 after every 5 referrals hired.

$500.00 paid in 2 payments. The first is $250.00 after delivery of the referral’s load. The second $250.00 is at the time of the $4,000.00 drawing.
